National Pool Lifeguard Renewal

Swim UK are offering a unique opportunity for qualified lifeguards to renew their qualification and gain their 20 hours of training. COVID-19 has prevented leisure centres and lifeguards being able complete ongoing training towards their renewal. 
Swim UK are offering a 3-day renewal, where you get to refresh your knowledge in all three sections, and complete your assessment.

Please ensure you have read the 'Booking Procedure & Conditions' and 'NPLQ Re-assessment Policy' below before booking. 
Pre-requisites
Candidates must be:
  • At least 16 years of age at the start of the course.
  • Have an in date NPLQ certificate 
  • Have completed all 12 training sessions on your RLSS TAHDAH account.

Is the course COVID safe?
Our Lifeguard courses are in-line with the COVID-19 guidelines that the RLSS have released. All learners are provided with:
  • Their own first aid kits
  • Their own manikin lungs
  • Their own manikin faces 
  • Face masks/ shields to be worn throughout the training when in close contact with other learners 
  • Regular cleaning of the manikins and equipment 
  • Each candidate is assigned a pair within the group and they will only work with that pair throughout the week.
