Swim UK operates one of the largest programmes of Swimming Teaching (Swim England), Lifeguarding (RLSS) and leisure industry related courses in the UK. We run majority of our courses in Sussex, Kent and Hampshire.
Although more swimming teachers are trained at our centre than any other pool in the UK, we also offer courses at your own venue. We are also constantly expanding to new areas across the UK. Swim UK was formed by Paul Smith in 1995 to provide training to the staff of Brighton Swimming School to become lifeguards and swimming teachers. Now, courses are offered to those working within the leisure industry, schools and swimming clubs and most recently to job seekers. Swim UK have an innovative and pioneering approach to training and with an increasing number of people becoming swimming teachers, our achievement rates for the courses are well over 90%. We also received a Grade 2 (Good) in our 2015 Ofsted inspection.
