Leisure Team Member Standard Level 2

On programme;
An 18 month workplace programme well suited to roles such as Recreational Assistant/Lifeguard/Sports Activity Instructor/Assistants/Sports Officer etc to include classroom tuition days and block courses to learn the skills, knowledge and behaviours to prepare for end point assessment. A fully workplace Apprenticeship requiring a full-time contract within a leisure centre environment with access to a gym and pool facility.
 
 
Qualifications gained within this standard;
-              RLSSUK National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
-              RLSSUK Level 3 First Aid at Work
-              Active IQ Level 2 Fitness Instructing (Gym)
-              Swim England Level 1 and 2 Swimming Teaching
Apprentices will also cover a selection of operational elements and units including leisure operations, employment awareness and business administration.
 
Assessment;
The end point assessment centre (Active IQ) will assess the competency of the Apprentice using portfolio evidence, professional discussion and observation of practical activities with questioning.
