On programme;
The Leisure Duty Manager Standard is an 18 month programme designed for those members of staff already with in position of authority within a leisure centre facility such as Duty Manager/Operations Manager/Assistant Manager etc.
Similar to the Level 3 Leisure Manager NVQ, but with many additional elements. This qualification requires a level of authority and stretches management skills to include areas of the business that may not have been explored previously. Including topics such as understanding customers and customer retention, understand the customer service environment and developing the customers experience. The Leisure Duty Manager also focusses on management skills and behaviours including principles of leadership and management, principles of people management and recruitment and development of colleagues and will teach learners to understand how to manage a project and provide knowledge in how to budget and finance within the sector.
Understanding equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace is also covered as a topic throughout the programme.

- STA/Active IQ Level 3 Pool Plant Operation
- RLSSUK First Aid at Work
Assessment;
The end point assessment centre (Active IQ) will assess the competency of the Apprentice using portfolio evidence, project, presentation and professional discussion.
