Functional Skills UK Limited are running a Prep for Construction programme. This programme is in partnership with The Shore Group and a network of construction firms in the city. The programme is run over 3 days and you will achieve a range of qualifications.

The courses that you will receive through this programme are:
  • Level 1 Award in Heath and Safety in Construction (Including CSCS Card) 
  • Level 2 Certificate in Emergency First Aid 
  • Level 1 Award in Manual Handling Awareness
  • Level 1 Award in Asbestos Awareness 

Once you have completed the 3 days of training, we will then book your CSCS test at the Pearson Professional center. The test center addresses are:

How to Apply for the Course

This course can be fully funded for you if you meet the following criteria: 
  • Aged 19+ (before 1st August 2020) 
  • Lived in the EU for more than 3 years 
  • Live in Sussex, Surrey and Kent 
  • Unemployed 
  • Employed- earn less than £17,374.50
